The following photos show our Electric Sleeve
Hitch installed on a John Deere 345.
This hitch has the capability to be configured to either apply down
pressure or float depending on the job requirements.
Hitch configuration can be switched between down pressure and float
mode in 30 seconds or less. This is not a light weight hitch,
it is constructed of 3/8" & 5/16" plate steel and
features a Warner Linear Actuator rated at 1200# lift and
3000# static load. Total weight is 58#
and installation requires no modification to the tractor.
First time installation can be completed in about an hour using simple hand
tools. Most of the time required for initial installation is
due to routing the fused wiring harness and mounting the switch.
Once installed, the hitch can be removed and reinstalled in minutes. The design of the
sleeve hitch does not interfere with access to the transaxle
dipstick or the hydrostat release lever. With the addition
of our Sleeve Hitch Accessories, you can expand the
usefulness of this or any other sleeve hitch. Always follow
towing recommendations concerning
how much weight you can safely tow with your tractor.
